A word of note

The whole series of photos was taken at the first dedication of the new Tacoma Narrows Bridge, then walking across on the new bridge and back on the old bridge. I live about a half mile away from the bridges so I could walk to and from the ceremonies (didn't go to the afternoon ceremony with the Governor and State Department Directors as there were simply too many people to get any good photos).
