Background

Below is a table for sunrise and sunset and moonrise and moonset for Paradise, Mt. Rainier NP. For the month of April 2013 and the azimuth of sunrise and sunset, the sunrises moves northward from 82 to 67 true north, which is east-northeast, and sunset move from 278 to 294 degrees true north, which is west-northwest , during the month, respectively.

The table of moonrise and moonset azimuth for Seattle is available for April 2013. The difference between Seattle (shown in table) and Mt. Rainier is relatively minor and can be adjusted in the field.

Below are some Web-based calculators for sunrise/sunset, moonrise/moonset and sunrise/sunset azimuth. For what it's worth, knowing your exact location in the NP isn't that critical as you can use the calculation for Seattle, Washington to be sufficient close to make any minor adjustments in the field. Otherwise, Paradise is 46.77 ° north 121.73 ° west and the crest of Mt. Rainier is 46.85 ° north and 121.76 ° west for exact calculations.
